| Armed Robbery At Tandragee Jewellers |
Police are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery at the Jewellers in Tandragee.
Around 2.00 pm on Thursday 20th May two men one armed with a gun and the other with a hammer entered the store in Market Street and smashed a glass cabinet. The duo also removed a number of gold rings and also stole jewllery from the the safe before fleeing in a grey Audi A4 in the direction of Scarva.
The PSNI believe the getaway car had been hijacked from a dealership in Mallusk on Wednesday, the car was later found burnt out.
A PSNI spokeswoman said last night the four people arrested were assisting police with their inquiries. She also said police were keen to speak to anyone who noticed a red Corsa or silver BMW in the Scarva or Tandragee areas yesterday, as well as anyone who may have any information about the car hijacking. |
